How does it actually work ? On which territories ? Which partnerships in the Territory ?

Here is a small example of an ongoing experiment with one of the European Distributors: ENEDIS: 

The first experimentation was initiated in France, in the North Departments and in the Pas de Calais region. Our most important partners are ENEDIS and the ETA from the “FNEDT Hauts de France”.

 

 

ENEDIS :

ENEDIS is the main distribution network operator in France. It is a public service which develops works and modernizes the electric network and manages the data associated.

 

ENEDIS connects the consumers, makes the electric meter readings and all the technical interventions and maintenances on the networks conceded by the communities.

 

The distribution network operators have to minimize time and frequencies of the supply power interruptions while there are programmed interventions, and also during urgent situations due to incidents on the networks which could or not be related to weather events (storms, snow, etc.).

 

 

 

The ETA** of the FNEDT*** (“National Federation of the Contractors of the Territories” in English) Hauts de France :

 

The ETA, “Entrepreneurs des Territoires” (The contractors of the territories in English), support the development and the improvement of the economic, social and environmental performance of the agricultural, rural and forestry working enterprises.

The ETA assures the representation of these enterprises alongside public authorities and the territorial communities.

 

They are also subscribed to the European Organisation of Agricultural, Rural and Forestry Contractors (CEETTAR), which collects the national organizations of contractors of 17 state members.

 

The agricultural, rural and forestry contractors perform :

- For the agricultural part: works which are part of the agricultural production cycle (labours, seedlings, phytosanitary treatments, harvests, silages, wrappings).

- For the forestry part: wood works (looping, pruning, and skidding), reforestation, silviculture work, brush clearing, etc. 

- For the rural part: land and rural improvement works.

 

These enterprises are implicated in the environment issues and many of them dispose notably of an agreement for applying phytosanitary products.

 

A great part of them use last generation materials such as powerful tractors Stage V type with AdBlue (-85% NOx and -15% CO2). Some of them are already thinking to furnish themselves, as soon as the market allows it, machines working with BIOGNV, or with Hydrogen (H2).

With the potency of a network mobilised for developing the markets, the organisation is a key in the rural world and so, a great opportunity for Quick Power Access.

 

The contractors of the territories, along with more than 21, 000 agricultural, rural and forestry enterprises and their 95,000 permanent and seasonal employees, can perform projects from agricultural and forestry farmers, owners and enterprises, to local communities and public establishments which manage the networks.

It is in the present context, that Quick Power Access constitutes a new opportunity of projects and performances 24h/24 for these ETA at the seasons of the year with more storms and where the agricultural works are seasonally stopped. In brief, it is a “win-win” relation to the communities and the Territories!

Consequently, thanks to this partnership (ENEDIS-QPA-ETA), the Territory preserves its local employments and also guarantees quicker interventions in case of incidents on the distribution network.

What about tomorrow ? Which Territory ? In which countries ? Which partnerships ?

 

In general terms, the European countries with low tension overhead networks (from 20, 000 Volts to 400 Volts), are more vulnerable to incidents and are subjects to many programmed works such as enhancing of power lines and pruning.

These countries are usually the ones which have higher levels of SAIDI and SAIFI and which mostly need to call to the classical High Power Generators.

 

 

 

 

 

QPA is compromised to propose innovative resupply solutions by using the motor forces available in these countries (Hungary, Romania, Poland, Croatia, Ireland, etc.).

The pickups and other vehicles with ETP devices, represent a veritable alternative to agricultural tractors in some other countries (Spain, Italy, Greece, Portugal, etc.) where these are less commun to be found.

QPA will also mobilise to the overseas and department regions, to Latin America and to Africa, where, unfortunately, the electric cuts are numerous with delicate intervention conditions from the electricity network operators.

We will associate with the local confederations and enterprises for the implementation of the dispositions needed to QPA’s concept and we will study with the local infrastructure managers their technical design briefs and conditions to supply the public and private networks.
